READ WELL GROUPS BEGIN TODAY: Today we started reading groups. Each of the kids has been placed in a small group with other students at their same reading level. These 30 minute lessons are focused heavily on gaining phonics skills as well as building fluency in reading. Our groups meet from 9:50-10:20 each day, so please be sure your child is here for their lesson time. Most groups will have a short story in their HomeFUN! Folder that will need to be signed and returned the next day.
PARENT HELP: I could use a few extra parents here and there over the next couple of weeks to help me complete several short assessments with the kids. Call or email me if you have an hour or two open!
EARLY OUT THIS WEDNESDAY! Please remember to pick your child up at 1:25 Wednesday!
GLACIER PARK VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We still need another 3 or 4 Parents to join us next Wednesday for our Glacier Park trip. It will be such a FUN day with the class! Please email me if you can plan on joining us all day for this outing.
LIBRARY BOOKS: Library books are coming home each week on Tuesdays. Please have your child show you the books they have checked out! Keep them in a special place at home, and remember to have your child bring them back on Tuesday so they can check out something new.
